‘To everyman has been given the gift of time, the way you choose to use yours is up to you. Do not say my neighbour has more than I have therefore I am poor. We have all been given the same talent which is time, use it wisely’ Bishop David Oyedepo 1996.
If you believe it will work, you will see opportunities. If you believe it won’t you will see obstacles. Okay so we are all caught up now. Not going all church on you Yemi, but the bible in the book of Matthew 25:14-30 tells a parable of Christ and the 3 servants. The story goes that when the master was going on a journey he gave 3 of his servants talents or property to look after while he was gone. Now 2 of the servants invested wisely and made profits for their master, the third was unhappy that he had received less than the first two, so he buried his given talent.
When the master returned, he rewarded the two servants but cast out the 3rd for his foolishness, now this is the parable of Christ. We all have been given talents in life, but circumstances sometimes make us bury them or invest foolishly. Ronda Byrne, ‘The Secret’ proposes that ‘instead of focusing on the worlds’ problems, give your attention and energy to trust, love, abundance, education and peace’. Ronda also writes that, ‘the universe has been answering you all your life, but you cannot receive the answer unless you are awake’.
Now is Ronda right are you asleep Yemi, if you are stuck in a form of matrix please wake up. No one is going to stand up for you but you. Ok Rhoda so I know the secret of the universe, Now I say to that mountain move and most times it actually moves when I make reasonable demands or request of my universe. Like my own personal genie.
On David Oyedepos’ expression on the gift of time I lay my realities, I used to blame little obstacles for my lack of moving mountains, but you see believing in me means I now see opportunities and no more obstacles. Dear Yemi, you are a master, you create your own dreams, you are gifted the talent of time and before it runs out tell your story, use it wisely.
‘If you talk to God, you are praying. If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia’, Thomas Szass.
Now come along with me to Budapest, What a lovely city. I have never visited but hope to one day. My eldest daughter has she told me it is beautiful and brought back souvenirs for me and her siblings. Budapest I am told is the capital of Hungary and the 10th largest city in the European union.
I heard that there are many wonderful sites to visit and their culture is superb, and I heard the people are very friendly. Budapest I also learnt has a large Jewish community and a historically Jewish Quarter, which is one of the most progressive areas in the city. For this the city ticks the mark for me a s a must visit.
‘When you get to the end of all the light you know and its time to step into the darkness of unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen; either you will be given something to stand on or you will be taught how to fly’, Edward Teller.
