Time out

“Friendship has splendors that love knows not. It grows stronger when crossed, whereas obstacles kill love. Friendship resists time, which wearies and severs couples. It has heights unknown to love.”
― Mariama Bâ

Dear Yemi, a lot has gone on in your life these past years and friendship is the only thing you have held on to. Friends call in all shapes and sizes, in your children, partner and even schoolmates.

I am most grateful to my friends from federal government college idoani where i found me, unfortunately from my university I made no friends. Everyone was always in a hurry maybe the cold was getting to them. To people I met at work those who stayed true I am thankful, those who persecuted me your loss.

You see life is so strange, the ones you asked to scratch your back may hold thorns and the ones you ask to blow your eyes will put pepper, believe in your self alone and no one else, when you fall pick your self up. No one is going to. No books or medication is going to help you when you are depressed , you are your own book and medication. I love you yemi, remember that always. Perhaps we will meet someday in that parallel universe. All the best.

“If over the years, and passing through the realities of life, dreams die, I still keep intact my memories, the salt of remembrance.”
